Masking in Photoshop

To mask an image you need to open a new image in photoshop. Then unlock the bottom layer by double clicking on it and rename it. Next you can select an image by using the marquee tool. To cut the image press "apple" and a little scissors will show up. You can move the selected area to a new background and then put text to it. To change the shape of the text, click a button at the top toolbar which shows the picture of a "T" and an arc below it.
